So I've been thinking lately about how I've gone over my two year plan. Originally I only planned to stay in Tucson for two years after which I would finally move to Cali, but things haven't worked out that way, and maybe it's for the best. I've had a lot of amazing opportunities come at me during my time here. I've met some really awesome people that I couldn't imagine never meeting, but it's time for me to leave. I want to go before I end up like most of the people here. They all had big dreams of getting away from this city, and making something of themselves. They have so much potential, but they each chose to stay here for their own personal reasons. Well I don't want to do that; I want to go out there, and prove myself. There's no opportunity for a career in fashion out here in the sticks. It's evident by the lack of serious fashion programs in Tucson schools; sure there's two private institutions, but they're the same price as one out of state, so there's no point in not going out there to make it. I can't wait to leave, and say, "yea I went out there to prove myself," and even if obstacles come up along the way I can still say I broke away from this one horse town to go out there and prove myself, didn't let anything hold me back. I'm going to miss so many of you guys, Nina, Clarissa, Gabby, Keesh, Kat, Tarter, Cassie, Krys, Tino, Ali, Danny, shoot all of you guys who've made my time here the best it could be. Last but not least my family. I know I'm going to make it though :). So to Tucson and it's dead end opportunities I have one more semester with you, and then we must part ways as I journey towards my destiny :). FIDM-L.A. here I come.
