Catching Up

WOw, so my life has been uber hectic lately. I've been trying to do homework, my stories, my clothes for the fashion show, and my life lol. But it's been soooo much fun :D. So just to show I know what's going down lol here we go. So balenciaga's FWL is amaaaazing as well as Louis Vuitton's. Anyone who has seen them knows what I mean. Both Zac Posen and Jean-Paul Gaultier are designing lines for target :). Speaking of Zac Posen (who is one of my most amazing inspirations) has decided to take up interior design whaaaat O_o so that'll be awesome to see. Julia Roberts is the new ambassador for Lancome. Some see it as a smart move, others think it's ridiculous and wouldn't want a "horse faced representative." Lol it's entirely horrible the comments some people have made. J Brand jeans was scooped up by the same affiliates that represent Aeropostale and comp. so it'll be fun to see what they do with them. And as everyone knows Mr. Lee Mcqueen committed suicide after the loss of his mother :/. It's such a devastating blow to the world of fashion because he was an amazing designer. Of course he didn't design things to be mass produced, but it was his artistic uniqueness that was so great. Also him being a master tailor made the way his garments fit absolutely amazing. It's such a sad loss :/. Speaking of McQueen I was thinking about Christian Siriano the other day, and can't wait to see what he's going to do next. Knowing that he was under both an internship and apprenticeship with McQueen, and all the stuff that he's done so far, it's going to be interesting to see what he does next. Zac Posen for Target

As mentioned in my blog before this (whose name shall not be mentioned) I forcasted that target was really going to be making a bang in the fashion world. At that time they had already had simone legno designing school supplies and such for them. I haven't noticed, but target has had a lot of big names to design for their clothing department. Currently Jean Paul Gaultier is developing a line for them which has been kept entirely under wraps, except for a few blurry photos out there. Now they have one of my personal favorites designing for them, Zac Posen. I managed to find a few photos of what's to come, and let me say that it's totally Zac lol. April 25 is the release date for those ladies out there who want to get their hands on these garments. They are utterly astounding.

An Update on All Things Judon (lol)

It's been soooo long since I've posted an actual blog pertaining to my life, so allow me to bring you up to speed. Well I have returned to Pima, and am currently taking Intro to Fashion Design and Fashion Drawing. I am so lucky to be under the teachings of my former instructor; she is such an amazing individual, and she makes you believe in yourself when you don't think you can. The other instructor I have is Nancy. I haven't been around her long enough to get to know her on a personal level, but I do know for a fact that she is an outstanding designer, and has had exceptional success in the field. As far as things go outside of class I did sign up for the fashion show, but have yet to get started on anything 0_O. I will soon enough. I am also in production of a cancer awareness shirt that i want to get out ASAP, but haven't found enough time to sit down and sketch. I have everyone lined up to have their share in it to produce it, but once again I myself haven't been able to produce the beginning sketches. I also started working at the local magazine VOICES. I'll be dealing strictly in fashion related articles around Tucson, and already have my first story lined up. The people there are amazing as well, and so diverse it's just like a melting pot of awesome people. When we get to work it's like we leave behind the real world, and enter our own little universe it's hard to describe. Unfortunately I haven't had much friend time because I'm so occupied, but I hope to change that soon. Well that's pretty much everything that's going on so far :). Fall 2010: It's Going To Be Awesome

wow the fashion shows in both milan and paris have showcased aaaaamazing new wear for the upcoming fall and winter of 2010. i'm absolutely stunned by every collection that was showcased. it's really difficult to find video as well as photographs because it was so recent, but i did manage to find this one on youtube, and it shows some of the awesome things to come :). enjoy. i don't care too much for the song because it's so overplayed so i just put it on mute haha.

Reborn

I have made the leap back to blogspot lol. I was going to revive my old blog, but I couldn't remember any of my information haha. So this is my blog reborn. i haven't tumbl'd because I realized it wasn't exactly a blog. I'm back to posting about fashion, and my journey onto getting to where I want to go.
